Terms of Service
The terms that guide your use of our website and services.
Last Updated: September 18, 2026
Welcome to The Recruiter Gal (“TRG,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and your purchase or use of services provided by The Recruiter Gal. By accessing our website, purchasing a service, submitting payment, or otherwise engaging TRG to provide services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
Our Services
The Recruiter Gal provides career transition and career development services to individuals and organizations. Services may include résumé writing and editing, LinkedIn optimization, interview preparation, career consulting, job-search resources, outplacement services, fractional career services partnerships, workshops, coaching, and other related services.
The specific services included in your purchase are those described on the applicable service or package page at the time of purchase, unless otherwise agreed to in writing.
Career Services Are Advisory in Nature
TRG provides professional career guidance, materials, strategies, and recommendations based on recruiting and career-services experience. However, many factors affecting a job search are outside TRG’s control.
TRG does not guarantee interviews, job offers, employment, promotions, salary increases, career advancement, acceptance into a particular organization, or any other specific career outcome.
Purchasing a service does not guarantee that an employer, recruiter, applicant tracking system, hiring manager, school, or other third party will respond to or act upon a client’s application or materials.
Clients remain responsible for their own career decisions, applications, communications with prospective employers, interview performance, and acceptance or rejection of employment opportunities.
Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing complete, accurate, and truthful information necessary for TRG to perform the purchased services.
TRG relies on information supplied by the client when preparing résumés, LinkedIn content, cover letters, and other career materials. Clients are responsible for reviewing all completed materials and confirming that dates, job titles, education, credentials, accomplishments, statistics, and other information are accurate before using or distributing them.
TRG will not knowingly fabricate qualifications, employment history, education, credentials, accomplishments, or other information on behalf of a client.
Delays in providing requested information, completing intake materials, responding to questions, or providing feedback may delay completion of services.
Résumé Writing and Project Timeline
For résumé-writing services, TRG generally provides an initial résumé draft within five (5) business days after receiving the information and materials reasonably necessary to begin the project.
The five-business-day timeline begins once required intake information and supporting materials have been received, not necessarily on the date of purchase.
Turnaround times may vary for unusually complex projects, large employer engagements, or circumstances disclosed to the client. Any material change to an anticipated timeline will be communicated when reasonably possible.
Revisions
Résumé packages that include revisions allow for up to three (3) rounds of revisions, unless a different number is stated in the service description.
Revisions are intended to refine the original project based on client feedback. They do not include an entirely new résumé, a change to an unrelated career target after work has begun, or a substantial new project outside the scope of the original purchase.
Additional work outside the original scope may require an additional fee.
Coaching, Consulting and Interview Services
Clients are responsible for attending scheduled strategy calls, coaching sessions, mock interviews, consultations, and other appointments on time.
If a client needs to reschedule, reasonable advance notice should be provided whenever possible. Repeated missed appointments, excessive rescheduling, or failure to participate in a purchased service does not entitle the client to a cash refund.
Any rescheduling or service accommodation is subject to availability.
Outplacement and Fractional Career Services
Services purchased by employers, educational institutions, or other organizations are governed by the scope, number of participants, service level, pricing, and other terms agreed upon at the time of purchase or in a separate written agreement.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, unused participant spaces, missed sessions, or a participant’s decision not to utilize an available service do not create an entitlement to a cash refund.
TRG may establish reasonable scheduling, enrollment, participation, and service-delivery procedures necessary to administer group or organizational engagements.
If a separate written agreement between TRG and an organizational client conflicts with these Terms & Conditions, the separate written agreement will control with respect to that engagement.
Payments
Payment is due according to the pricing and payment terms presented at checkout or otherwise agreed upon in writing.
Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers. By submitting payment information, you authorize the applicable payment processor to charge the selected payment method for the amount shown at checkout.
Clients are responsible for reviewing the service description and package inclusions before purchasing.
Refunds and Service Adjustments
All sales are final. TRG does not provide cash refunds for purchased services except where required by applicable law.
We want clients to receive meaningful value from their purchase. When appropriate, TRG may address a service concern through reasonable revisions, corrections, modifications, additions, or adjustments to the purchased service rather than through a monetary refund.
Additional terms regarding refunds and service adjustments are contained in our separate Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms & Conditions.
Digital Products and Resources
Certain TRG services may include downloadable guides, templates, worksheets, checklists, educational materials, or other digital resources.
Unless otherwise stated, these materials are provided for the purchaser’s personal or authorized organizational use only. They may not be reproduced, resold, distributed, published, shared publicly, or used commercially without written permission from TRG.
Intellectual Property
TRG retains ownership of its proprietary templates, methodologies, educational materials, guides, website content, branding, processes, and other original intellectual property.
Once a client’s customized résumé, cover letter, LinkedIn content, or similar individualized career document has been completed and paid for, the client may use that customized material for their personal career purposes.
This permission does not transfer ownership of TRG’s underlying templates, methodologies, processes, training materials, or other proprietary content.
Testimonials
TRG will not publicly identify a client or publish a client’s testimonial, résumé, or other personally identifiable career materials for promotional purposes without appropriate permission.
Website Use
The TRG website and its content are provided for informational and business purposes. Users may not attempt to interfere with website functionality, gain unauthorized access to systems, copy protected content for commercial use, or use the website for unlawful purposes.
Third-Party Services and Links
TRG may use or link to third-party platforms for payment processing, scheduling, email communications, website functionality, social media, analytics, or other services.
TRG is not responsible for the availability, policies, security, content, or performance of independent third-party platforms.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TRG will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages arising from the use of our website or services, including lost employment opportunities, lost income, or decisions made by employers or other third parties.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TRG’s aggregate liability arising from a purchased service will not exceed the amount actually paid to TRG for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Changes to These Terms
TRG may update these Terms & Conditions periodically to reflect changes in our services, business practices, or applicable requirements.
The “Last Updated” date will be revised when changes are made. The terms applicable to a purchase will generally be those in effect when the purchase is made, except where a change is required by law or otherwise agreed to by the parties.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
